Science involves seeing, handling, understanding and manipulating of real objects and materials. Teaching science therefore requires a blend of classroom teaching and practical work. Conducting experiments, reviewing them closely, developing logical reasoning, and responding to analytical comments, are some of the valuable skills that help in preparing the next generation of scientists, engineers, and medical professionals.
With this in mind, the school has state of the art science laboratories. We have three labs - one each for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Each lab has been specifically designed keeping in mind the type of equipment used and the nature of experiments that need to be performed. For example, every workstation in the Biology lab has lights under the table to ensure adequate lighting while viewing specimens under a microscope. Each lab can handle 30 students at a time.
